Woolly Tales & Yarns from a Spinner’s Flock of Ouessant Sheep

Rain, hale, and chilly gusts of wind …

That’s right, in Normany the weather is quite gloomy for the end of May !

And due to such uncooperative weather, sheep shearing has been delayed.

But finally, a bit of good weather to start shearing !

Today I began with Olivia’s beautiful fleece (black Ouessant ewe, 75% St. Symphorien).

Shearing really is a lot of work, but what a lovely reward !
